Improved ways to bulk delete rules

We've introduced new capabilities for managing your redirection rules within the redirection.io manager: bulk deletion of rules. This update now provides two methods for mass deletion, aiming to streamline your rule management.

Delete rules using filters

It was already possible to delete a selection of rules by applying filters to the rules list. This option is useful for removing groups of rules that share common properties, such as those created before a specific date or rules that have not been triggered recently. Simply filter your rules list, select the rules you intend to remove, and confirm the deletion.

Delete rules using a CSV file

For scenarios requiring more specific rule selection, you can now delete rules by importing a CSV or TXT file that contains a list of rule IDs. This method is suitable when rules do not share common filterable properties, for example, when removing duplicate rules, or rules linked to a particular set of product pages. You can export your rules, prepare a list of the relevant IDs, and then import the file to mark those rules for deletion.

Once marked, the selected rules will be removed from your project's rules list with the next publication.

We hope these additions contribute to more efficient rule management within redirection.io! For detailed instructions on how to use these new features, please refer the detailed documentation.
