    You can create two managed instances within your redirection.io project. Each domain or sub-domain counts as one instance (for example, example.com and www.example.com count as 2 instances).
  • 1 APEX domain
    Instances managed within your redirection.io project can only be for a single "root" (or "APEX") domain name, i.e. a domain name with no sub-domains). For example, instances can be created for some.example.com and www.example.com (both of which correspond to the "example.com" root domain), but not for domain.com and www.example.com (which correspond to the "domain.com" and "example.com" root domains).
  • 100 GB monthly traffic

Additional logs pricing

If your project requires a higher daily quota, or longer log retention, or both, we can adapt the limits of your project plan.

If your website logs more than 2 million requests per day, redirection.io will automatically remove logs that exceed the quota. You can contact us to increase the volume of logs allowed on your project, so that you have an exhaustive view of your traffic.

Crawler pricing

When using the crawler, each page downloaded and analyzed consumes a “crawl credit”. You can buy crawl credits as a one-off purchase, or as a monthly or annual subscription.

Crawl credits are invoiced at the same time as your redirection.io subscription plan, and are automatically added to your redirection.io project when the subscription is renewed. They can be used indefinitely.

Managed instance options

Each redirection.io plan offers a limited number of managed instances. If your project requires support for a larger number of domains, please contact us. Additional instances are charged between €0.50 and €1.50 per month per domain, depending on the number of instances to be added.

In addition, each redirection.io project comes with 100 GB of monthly traffic. If your project generates more traffic, we'll contact you to adapt your pricing plan to your needs, per additional 100 GB.

Frequently asked questions

  • How many redirection rules will my project need?

    For most business projects, it is usually necessary to set up between 3,000 and 15,000 redirection rules, but some large eCommerce sites may sometimes require tens of thousands of rules.

    You can upgrade your plan during the suscription period, and we only charge for the difference - so you can upgrade only when your project requires it. Don't worry, redirection.io is here to help you build an efficient redirect plan!

  • How many redirections can be executed?

    There is no limit on how many times your redirection rules can be executed. We do not bill on the usage volume. The only limit is on the amount of redirection rules that you can create.

    Rules which include markers (also known as "wildcard rules") count for 1 rule, but can match many URLs on your website, and can be executed as many times as your web platform requires it - you will only pay for 1 rule.

  • Should I choose a "Starter" or a "Pro" plan?

    "Starter" plans are suitable for small websites, with no critial requirements. They are limited to 5,000 rules, and do not benefit from all the redirection.io features included in "Pro" plans. The "Starter" plan is a self-service offer: no specific assistance with installation or use is included in the "Starter" plan.

    "Pro" plans are designed for business or eCommerce websites, with professional requirements. They include all the features of redirection.io, and can be configured with a larger number of rules. "Pro" plans include professional support and should be chosen for all business environments.

  • Are these prices per organization or per project?

    The above prices are per project. You cannot share a plan between several projects, and you will need several plans (one for each project) if you want to manage the traffic of several websites with redirection.io.

    However, a "project" is not necessarily mapped to a website or a domain! For example, you can use a single project to manage the traffic of several websites.

  • Are there rate limits?

    The traffic data that we save is rate limited with a soft limit of 2M log lines per day per project. We allow temporary bursts, but we will drop log lines if your traffic consistently exceeds this limit.

    However, there is no limit on the number of times rules can be applied. Even if your website handles 20M requests per day (or more), redirection.io rules will be applied on each and every request. We will simply log max 2M requests per day.

    Please note that this logging rate limiting can be raised for "Pro" plans that need it - contact us to discuss your needs.

  • Are there limits on managed instances?

    Managed instances are a very convenient way to use redirection.io on your website, as they do not require any component to be installed on your hosting infrastructure.

    However, there are some specific limits to be aware of: the number of domain and sub-domains allowed per project is limited (2 domains for "Starter" projects, 5 domains for "Pro" projects) or the amount of bandwidth a project can use. Should your project require higher limits, please contact us or consider using the hybrid deployment which does not have these limits.

  • Is there a free trial?

    All our new clients can test the product for free for two weeks. You do not have to pay anything during the free trial, we do not ask for a credit card (please contact us to enable the free trial without credit card).

    Once the free trial expires, we will come back to you and give you the choice of paying for your plan and continuing the trial, or canceling the plan altogether and reverting to the free plan.

  • How do I subscribe?

    Starting on with redirection.io is rather simple: create an account, then create your project in the "manager" and install the agent: you're done.

  • What are the available payment means?

    You can either pay by credit card, directly from within the manager, or by bank transfer (please contact us to enable this payment mean). We do not store any payment information, as we use Stripe as a payment gateway.

  • Are taxes included in these prices?

    Prices above are excluding taxes. Depending on your country of residence's VAT rate, VAT may be added to your total amount charged.
