1. Start a new crawl
Simply enter the desired URL and click "Start the crawl." The redirection.io crawler will then begin downloading this page, recursively following all embedded links to thoroughly explore your website.

2. Monitor real-time crawl progress
Once your crawl is initiated, you can observe its live progress and status.
Track "Discovered URLs," representing the total number of unique URLs identified by the crawler. This count encompasses all URLs, including those crawled, pending crawl, non-HTTP URLs, and external links, providing a holistic view of your site's discoverability.

3. Review the analysis summary
Upon completion of the crawl, delve into the detailed analysis of the results.

For each alert, a "details" button offers in-depth documentation and a direct link to a list of all affected URLs, enabling rapid investigation and resolution.
The solution was perfect and scalable over time. During the migration it enabled us to set up the redirections. Then we wanted to set up a robot.txt file and a sitemap.xml file. The tool made it super easy to set this up. Without redirection.io, the migration phase would have been longer and more chaotic.
I can't see myself going back and managing my redirections like before. Of course, today, if I had to change company or job, I'd need redirection.io. Today, those who do without are either brave, or they have an in-house solution.
